Free and open to all, this is truly a once in a life-time experience.
Each Saturday morning from now until August 19th, the yoga classes will take place in the open, filled with natural light, Grand Foyer of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts located on the banks of the Potomac River.
All experience levels are welcomed to these vinyasa yoga sessions. The classes are taught by rotating instructors from local studios, including East Side Yoga, Sculpt, Core Power Yoga, and Spark Yoga. There’s no need to register for the classes, but the Kennedy Center does require a signed waiver. Bring your own mat and show up early—the classes will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The hour-long “Community Yoga classes” run each Saturday at 10:15 am through August 19 as part of the Kennedy Center’s Sound Health partnership with NIH.
